Having photographed both the victims of war, and the humanitarian causes that help them, for over 20 years, Ursula Meissner is an expert in capturing powerful images. She has received worldwide recognition for her work.

Ursula’s extraordinary experiences in zones of conflict range from being hijacked by the Taliban to spending a week in a refugee camp in Sudan. Her career has taken her to Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Kosovo, Iraq, Bosnia, Iran, Yemen, Ghana, Kenya, Burundi, Gaza, Lebanon and Cambodia, as she continues to photograph areas of unrest throughout the world.
