The annual Nikon Small World Photography competition aims to showcase some of the best ‘photomicrography’ (photography using a microscope) in the world. For over 30 years photomicrographers have been sending us their amazing images which not only make spectacular viewing but also help to make critically important scientific contributions to life sciences, bio-research and materials.
You may remember when we announced the winning photo of the 2010 Small World Photography Competition on the blog last October. Well, that time has come again – this year’s winners have been announced and you have a chance to pick your favourite from the top entries.
