I AM SPRINGTIME – Check out this season’s additions to the COOLPIX family

We’re delighted to announce our spring COOLPIX releases – we’ve got nine new models for you to check out!

Within our models are a stylish new, colourful trio of additions to the COOLPIX S range. The S3100 is the ultra-slim successor to the S3000, Europe’s best selling model of 2010. With its 14 megapixel CCD sensor, it is great for capturing detailed shots. The S4100 has an intuitive high-resolution LCD touchscreen and is ideal for high definition filming, and the S6100 packs a 7x NIKKOR zoom lens and has four different anti-blur functions to automatically minimize the effect of camera shakes.

Also in the COOLPIX S range is our pocket-friendly S9100 with its 18x super-zoom.  Want to see the bigger picture?  Well, the S9100 allows you to do just that. It features a highly sensitive, back-illuminated CMOS sensor, an 18x NIKKOR zoom lens and it can take a rapid burst of frames, instantly merging them to form a perfect panoramic shot. Completing the package, its Full (1080p) HD movie-recording with stereo sound offers more versatility than ever before.

If you want to use the full capacity of a superior compact camera, take a look at the COOLPIX P300. It comes with an incredibly bright f/1.8 lens to allow you to shoot in a range of challenging conditions, and the full manual controls include four exposure modes. Adding further to our successful P100, the P500, with its tiltable LCD monitor and 36x zoom, is a fantastic choice if you want to capture sweeping vistas or get up close to wildlife.

Last, but certainly by no means least, are three fun, easy-to-use and stylish cameras that get great results every time. The L23 makes a superb first camera; its Smart Portrait System comes with cool features like Smile Timer and Skin Softening. Alternatively, check out the S2500.  Perfect for the beach, the slopes or out on the town, the camera’s wide range of scene modes will automatically optimize settings for up to 17 popular photographic styles, effects and locations.  Finally, the L120 offers HD recording and its unique side control lever enables smooth, steady zooming throughout the long zoom range when shooting photos or movies.
